The T-I-M plan: the city or town on your agenda sends a vehicle of some sort to meet your passing train. The floors and the speeds are matched. The vehicles connect side-by-side. Doors open. You transfer; others do, too, both in and out. The vehicles disconnect. You’re on your way. Others did not have to stop. A national train could serve millions economically every day on any range trips while changing the entire transportation culture in this country for the better.
